The X-Ray Collection

In September 2019, Counter-Strike received the X-ray Scanner for France update. It was very unusual, and it specifically affected French players.

To avoid legal gambling restrictions, Valve released the X-ray tool to check out which skins are present in a case. The system is still tricky; buyers are obliged to pay the key price to scan a case before opening it.

As a heritage of that update, we have the X-Ray Collection in CS2. It comes with one pistol skin only: P250 | X-Ray.

The item looks pretty interesting with its greenish colors and the effect of scanning the pistol’s internal parts. Originally, P250 | X-Ray was a free addition to the Counter-Strike case scanner.
