The AUG can be considered an alternative to the M4A4 and M4A1-S, but its biggest disadvantage is the higher price, which is a substantial factor in high-level competitive play. Beyond that, the AUG has pretty good accuracy, and fast shooting. Scoping allows players to make precise headshots, but it’s a step towards tactics with sniper rifles and cannot be used in short- or even middle-range battles due to movement and view limitations.
