Counter-Terrorists in CS2 can buy this assault rifle as a cheap alternative to the much more effective M4A4 and M4A1-S. The relatively low price of the FAMAS is the only reason to do so. One disadvantage of this weapon is its low damage, so CT players often lose direct duels with their opponents. FAMAS has a burst mode with increased shooting rate and lower recoil. Switching to it with the secondary fire key may generally increase the weapon’s performance, but it also makes gaps between bursts longer. Buy FAMAS for force buy rounds, when you have funds for something better than SMGs.
