CS2 Charms: Ultimate Guide
Counter-Strike 2 got a new item type with the recent Armory update. It’s a pretty unusual moment for the game, as we’ve been enjoying a specific set of weapon cosmetics for years: skins and stickers. Now, you can add cute little danglings to your guns. CS2 charms are a wonderful addition to create a vibe in your matches and support your winning mood.
As charms are new to CS2, we’ve decided to highlight all the details around them in one ultimate guide. You’ll find info on the charm collections, attachment process, and possible patterns here.
What Are Charms in CS2?
Charms are little items that can be attached to any gun in Counter-Strike 2, as additional decor.
There is no practical purpose to CS2 charms. Similarly to weapon skins and stickers, they are only cosmetics that change the appearance of your weapons.
This role is still pretty meaningful. Everyone knows that to win many CS2 matches, you need to practice a lot. When you create a comfortable and appealing environment, you are more eager to spend time in the game. This naturally helps you to improve.
Also, charms in CS2 give players an extra opportunity to express their unique personality. In random Counter-Strike 2 matchmaking, teammates and opponents know nothing about you, but they see your style via items, such as CS2 Agents, skins, and charms.
How to Use CS2 Charms
Charms are just another type of CS2 item, so there is nothing difficult about using them in the game.
-
You can get a charm via the Armory pass in the game or buy CS2 charms on DMarket.
-
When you have one in your inventory, select it and choose a weapon you want to attach it to.
-
Charms can be attached to any weapon except CS2 knives.
-
Choose an exact spot for the charm to dangle from. Anything goes for these items!
-
Any spot on the gun’s body is good for attaching a charm. When choosing it, consider how it will look during the dynamic CS2 action.
All CS2 Charms
There are two charm collections in the CS2 Armory update. One of them is based on sausage people, with different facial expressions and color patterns. The other includes mini-copies of CS2 weapons.
CS2 charms are divided into rarity ranks, similar to the weapon skins quality levels. Rarity directly affects the price of an item.
- Extraordinary Collectibles: The rarest rank of charms in CS2
- Exotic Collectibles
- Remarkable Collectibles
- High Grade Collectibles: The most common type of charms
Let’s take a closer look at each item in these collections.
Missing Link Charm Collection
All these CS2 charms have the same shape. It’s a small sausage person with miniature arms and legs. The difference between Missing Link charms is only in the colors—they create specific personalities of the sausages and support a unique atmosphere around them. There are 17 charms in this collection.
Hot Howl
-
Starting Price: $49.90
-
Quality: Extraordinary
It’s a pretty scary creature, covered with flames. The Hot Howl sausage person shows their fangs as if they are ready to attack your Counter-Strike 2 opponents. This charm feels like a nice choice for aggressive players who enjoy an offensive playstyle.
Hot Wurst
-
Starting Price: $37.18
-
Quality: Extraordinary
This is rather a funny charm. Wurst is a German sausage, and the person on this item certainly looks like one. There are bluish flames in the lower part—to create a tasty crispy surface. But the Hot Wurst is not too happy with this intensity, and their face is covered with sweat.
Diamond Dog
-
Starting Price: $22.00
-
Quality: Exotic
This sausage person is ready for a nice party, probably 1970s style. The charm is wearing a shiny diamond suit. But the eyes speak of some really serious intentions. It’s like a combination of the fun you have in CS2 and the focus on destroying your opponents and winning the match.
Lil’ Monster
-
Starting Price: $12.05
-
Quality: Exotic
The CS2 charm is pretty disturbing. A little monster opens their huge mouth and shows their enormous green tongue. Are they ready to just swallow every game opponent? Gray underpants add an atmosphere of madness—like in a horror movie.
Diner Dog
-
Starting Price: $8.99
-
Quality: Exotic
An abstract color extravaganza is the name of the game for this charm in CS2. You can find some directional signs, lines, finish flags, and just colorful areas on the sausage person’s body. Is this a reflection of chaotic game plans for some Counter-Strike 2 players?
Lil’ Whiskers
-
Starting Price: $4.97
-
Quality: Remarkable
Everyone loves cats! Ok, almost everyone enjoys these fluffy creatures. And here we have one! With cute little sunglasses, wearing pants, and carrying a rifle, this little dude is ready to battle. The anime-like eyes clearly show the cat’s excitement about CS2.
Chicken Lil'
-
Starting Price: $5.50
-
Quality: Remarkable
Well, there is no need to introduce chickens to Counter-Strike players. How many of them have you met (and killed) on Inferno? This chicken charm kind of carries the community heritage.
Lil’ Teacup
-
Starting Price: $4.50
-
Quality: Remarkable
At first sight, we have a very similar pattern to the Diamond Dog CS2 charm. It’s just a sausage person wearing a bright suit—only their frowning eyes are visible. Still, look closer, and you will notice many interesting details on the suit. There are figures depicted with their rifles, clouds, and something like map elements.
Lil’ Sandy
-
Starting Price: $3.50
-
Quality: Remarkable
Is this kitty a friend of Lil’ Whiskers? The cat on this charm seemingly has nothing to do with CS2 battles. She is wearing a swimsuit and has a bath towel. May there be layers of power behind this innocent look?
That’s Bananas
-
Starting Price: $3.89
-
Quality: Remarkable
Here is a clear reference to one of the most iconic CS2 maps—Inferno. Banana is a long connector that leads Terrorists to bombsite B. It’s a place for countless battles. And this Banana charm represents the spirit of that place: excitement and eagerness to destroy your opponents. It even has a knife for close-range fights.
Lil’ Squatch
-
Starting Price: $2.43
-
Quality: Remarkable
They are probably a furry athlete, but their morning jogging session may have taken the sausage person to the wrong place. The facial expression says it all! After a little shock, this guy will tear apart anyone who distracts them from their exercise.
Lil’ SAS
-
Starting Price: $2.41
-
Quality: High Grade
This sausage person represents a SAS officer from one of the CS2 Agent skins. They are fully protected from dangerous gasses, and they wear armor to reduce the bullet’s effect. Would you take this charm to your CS2 Counter-Terrorist missions? May this be a trophy on Terrorists’ guns?
Pinch O’ Salt
-
Starting Price: $1.97
-
Quality: High Grade
Being salty during the Counter-Strike matches is in a way a community tradition. Are you one of those guys who make salty comments now and again? Or maybe you often are connected to such people via online matchmaking? Then consider attaching the Pinch O’ Salt CS2 charm to your weapons! It’s a dude with a salt shaker on their yellow suit.
Hot Sauce
-
Starting Price: $1.26
-
Quality: High Grade
A nice delicious sausage with some hot sauce? This charm adds just that image to your CS2 style. It can make your game hot and spicy. Basically, it’s just a white and orange suit on a somewhat angry dude.
Lil’ Crass
-
Starting Price: $1.49
-
Quality: High Grade
This CS2 charm is a little copy of the Agent skin ‘Medium Rare’ Crasswater | Guerrilla Warfare. The red ribbon, camouflage pants, some bullets, and an angry face—everything is here. Let Lil’ Crass add extra power to your game missions!
Big Kev
-
Starting Price: $1.43
-
Quality: High Grade
There is the Little Kev | The Professionals skin in the collection of CS2 Agents, and this charm is his counterpart. Big Kev copies many features of the original character, like the beard, sunglasses, and tie. But the shirt color is different. Is this Kev’s brother—or nemesis?
Lil’ Ava
-
Starting Price: $1.15
-
Quality: High Grade
The Agent skin Special Agent Ava | FBI is also represented among the CS2 charms of the Missing Link collection. She is fully ready for any game mission. Can Ava help you defuse many bombs and rescue lots of hostages?
Small Arms Charm Collection
In this CS2 charm collection, you’ll find little copies of the original game weapons. Some of them represent the default looks of those guns. Others are fantasy skins. They sure can be attached to the full-sized versions, but no one limits you in where your charms can go.
Baby Karat T
-
Starting Price: $68.46
-
Quality: Extraordinary
The charm represents the default Terrorist knife in Counter-Strike 2. It has a curved blade and looks generally impressive. The golden color only adds a prestigious layer to this item. This is one of the rarest CS2 charms.
Baby Karat CT
-
Starting Price: $55.26
-
Quality: Extraordinary
Here we have the default knife for Counter-Terrorists. Its look is rather straightforward—and that makes the melee weapon effective. You may decide not to go for risky knife kills, but the very spirit of this weapon type will still be with you during CS2 matches.
Semi-Precious
-
Starting Price: $53.00
-
Quality: Exotic
This small version of the Terrorist knife clearly reminds players of the rarest and most expensive item in CS2: Blue Gem Karambit. The charm is certainly not as precious as that item, but it looks amazing and may be a great part of your game inventory.
Titeenium AWP
-
Starting Price: $17.98
-
Quality: Exotic
Only knives are more prestigious in CS2 than the AWP. But when we talk about effectiveness in real matches, knives cannot be compared to these sniper rifles. One shot eliminates an opponent, and you can do it from a safe distance! The charm adds beauty to the AWP. The body is covered with a green metallic finish.
Lil’ Squirt
-
Starting Price: $9.00
-
Quality: Exotic
It’s a copy of the popular CT rifle M4A1-S. This efficient rifle has a silencer to slightly hide your presence. The Lil’ Squirt CS2 charm is covered with bright colors, making a deadly weapon look like a kid’s toy.
Die-cast AK
-
Starting Price: $24.96
-
Quality: Remarkable
The AK-47 is exclusive to Terrorists, and it’s one of the most effective assault rifles in the entire game. AK-47 skins are as popular as the weapon, so it’s logical to expect the Die-cast AK to be a charm players look forward to getting for their collections. The mini-gun is vividly violet.
Glamour Shot
-
Starting Price: $3.98
-
Quality: Remarkable
It’s a USP-S pistol replica, covered with glamorous shiny pieces. This charm may nicely connect with the Diamond Dog one. In addition to the small gems, the pistol has many golden elements. Does this correspond to your style in CS2?
POP Art
-
Starting Price: $2.48
-
Quality: Remarkable
It’s another CS2 charm based on the assault rifle M4A1-S. The body is covered with the sketch-like image of a real gun. To strengthen the effect of comic-book art, there is a POP sign on the silencer. It’s the only colorful element on this game item.
Disco MAC
-
Starting Price: $5.98
-
Quality: Remarkable
As for shiny diamond-like charms, nothing can be compared to Disco MAC. The whole body of this SMG is covered with golden, silver, and gem pieces. The gun is totally ready to get to a disco and dance all night.
Hot Hands
-
Starting Price: $1.95
-
Quality: Remarkable
This gun is like a hot piece of lava. Maybe it participated in an especially long competitive match and now needs time to cool down. Getting this charm for your CS2 weapon may add an atmosphere of super intense battle in all your game matches.
Baby’s AK
-
Starting Price: $1.00
-
Quality: High Grade
With all the beauty of CS2 skins, the default looks of some guns also have specific charm. Here is the original appearance of the assault rifle AK-47. On the one hand, you get a custom item to reflect your style. On the other hand, this style is one of the most ascetic in the game.
Whittle Knife
-
Starting Price: $1.16
-
Quality: High Grade
It’s an interesting knife model, as the charm is made of wood. It’s not a replica to create visual similarity to the original CS2 knives. The Whittle Knife charm is more like a talisman. May it bring you luck in CS2 matches! Can it help you get a knife from a case?
Pocket AWP
-
Starting Price: $1.33
-
Quality: High Grade
It’s quite a simplistic recreation of the AWP in Counter-Strike 2. The figurine looks funny, and it could certainly be a nice souvenir in real life. There are no fancy colors and patterns on the weapon body. Everything speaks of the sniper’s effectiveness.
Stitch-Loaded
-
Starting Price: $0.63
-
Quality: High Grade
What about a CS2 charm knitted with black and pink wool? This is exactly that! The model is based on the USP-S pistol, and it looks pretty neat—as if your grandma created it, knowing how passionate you are about the game.
Lil’ Cap Gun
-
Starting Price: $0.52
-
Quality: High Grade
The gun’s body is purely metallic, which still creates an image of a solid and reliable weapon. But there is a yellow cap on the muzzle, and it turns the CS2 charm into a nice little toy. The cap’s color changes slightly depending on the charm’s pattern variation.
Backsplash
-
Starting Price: $0.63
-
Quality: High Grade
The design of this charm may remind you of water splashes—but from really green water. Or, it’s made of greenish stones, like a souvenir you would buy in a mountain resort. The original model is the semi-machine gun MAC-10.
Charm Patterns
Like with some other CS2 skins, charms may have slight differences depending on their patterns. These differences are not as substantial as Fade patterns in Counter-Strike 2. Only shades of some colorful elements may change. It’s unlikely a crucial factor affecting the price of charms—the rarity level is more important.
Still, some charms are affected by patterns more than others. For example, Semi-Precious and Titeenium AWP may totally change their colors.
CS2 charms are cute and easy-to-use cosmetic items. You can attach a charm to any game weapon, on any spot. You have to pay to detach one, but then you can use it on any of your other guns.
Final Thoughts
The starting set of charms in CS2 includes two collections: Small Arms and Missing Link. It is logical to expect other items to be added to the game in the future.
If you attach a charm with a trade lock to a skin without this limitation, the whole set gets this lock. Mind this feature if you plan to sell CS2 skins with charms.
The very idea of these items is pretty interesting, as it’s another option to customize your look in the game. All the charms are purchasable via DMarket.
Trade on the go - install the mobile app of DMarket from Google Play or App Store. Never miss great prices and unique skins. The best CS2, Dota 2, Rust and TF2 marketplace is always at hand!
