Quite expectedly, weapon skins are more popular in CS2 than various misc items. Having a beautiful weapon finish that reflects your style and highlights your skills is a great feeling for Counter-Strike players.

CS2 weapon skins have a high sale volume compared to misc items. These numbers have not changed too much compared to best sellers stats for Counter-Strike 2 in 2024.

The most notable difference within the category of misc items compared to 2025 is the increased percentage for CS2 charms: from 0.4% to 1.51%. The items were tradeable throughout the entire year. Also, they had a boost in popularity thanks to their presence on the esports streams: pro players use charms for their weapons pretty often. Stickers were slightly less popular. Their percentage decreased from 12.4% in 2024 to 9.85% in 2025.

Rifles are a universal choice: when the in-game economy allows, most Counter-Strike players go for the AK-47 or the M4A4 / M4A1-S.

Shotgun skins were more popular: from a share of 6.4% in 2024. This probably reflects a slight shift in preferences for anti-eco rounds, as the percentage of SMG finishes decreased—it was 14.8% in 2024.

In terms of the pistol model, the Desert Eagle remains very popular in the CS2 community. It is hands down the most iconic pistol in the game, and players really enjoy having cool-looking skins for it. Printstream is #1 again.

Tilted belongs to The Overpass 2024 Collection, and the skin has a great share for its first full year of sales.

The USP-S and the Glock-18 are the default pistols for the CT and T sides, respectively. Jawbreaker is from the Kilowatt Case, which was released in 2024 as the first-ever set of strictly CS2 skins—the item made it to the yearly best sellers on DMarket for the first time, too.

Only the MAC-10 is present twice in the top 5 finishes. The Light Box skin was #4 in 2024, but the gap between the percentages is not too big. Saibā Oni is from the Gallery Case, and 2025 is the first full year for it on the CS2 skins market. It’s pretty popular.

MP9 | Starlight Protector is the most purchasable SMG skin again. P90 | Wave Breaker and UMP-45 | K.O. Factory belong to the Fever Case, released in March 2025.

The Atheris skin keeps its top position, but we can still see some fresh items compared to 2024. Chromatic Aberration and Printstream bring very different vibes to the game, but both AWP finishes were popular on DMarket in 2025.

Only newer stickers are featured in this top 5 list. DMarket users purchased these items quite willingly, especially those from the Elemental Craft Sticker Pack.

Fire, lightning, and wind are mighty elements, and they look awesome on CS2 skins. You can complement the general color patterns with these stickers. The only item with different vibes is Flex from the Character Craft Sticker Pack. Everyone loves good muscles, right?

Top 5 Tournament Stickers by Purchases

Fluxo is a smaller Counter-Strike team from Brazil. Its Paris Major sticker remains very popular on DMarket. Other items from that tournament are related to the MOUZ team and the players EliGE and FlameZ, from Team Liquid and OG, respectively.
