The Dead Hand Collection Released for CS2: New Gloves and Weapon Skins!
On March 11, 2026, Valve released a small but exciting CS2 update. It’s mainly about adding new skins to Counter-Strike 2—the Dead Hand Collection.
As for gameplay-related tweaks, this update brought us a fix for Dust II and a newer version of Alpine.
- There was a pixel gap in the Outside Long door on Dust II. Now, it’s fixed.
- Alpine is a community-created CS2 map for the Hostage Rescue scenario. The update has synchronized the in-game and Workshop versions.
New Gloves in CS2: The Dead Hand Collection
It’s arguably the biggest aspect of this CS2 update. The game receives an impressive selection of gloves, which happens rarely. They belong to different types but bring fresh color schemes.
CS2 skins from the Dead Hand Terminals
Similar to the Genesis Collection, these new skins have been included in a special terminal. It’s a unique version of CS2 cases, as you don’t need a key to open it.
The Dead Hand Collection features 17 new CS2 weapon skins.
While Dead Hand Terminals can drop in the game for free, it is still quite troublesome to get specific items, especially of a high rarity. A much more reliable way is to buy the Dead Hand Collection CS2 skins on DMarket. Traditionally, many good offers appear on the marketplace shortly after a game update.
