Try Before You Buy: CS2 Skins on DMarket Are Playable Now

Our marketplace of in-game items launches a new feature: Try Skin in Action. It’s available to everyone and allows DMarket users to take CS2 skins to the game on our servers.

The Try Skin in Action feature is a fresh addition to the extended opportunities that gamers and traders have on DMarket. In this article, we explain the details.

How to use the new feature

If you want to see a CS2 skin or item directly in the game, follow these simple steps.

1. Head to the CS2 section on DMarket.
2. Select a skin or item you want to try out.
3. Click the Information icon in the top right corner of the item card. In the pop-up window, press the Try Skin in Action button.
4. Select a server to try out the chosen CS2 item. Click the Connect button on DMarket to launch the game and connect to the server. It is a good idea to select the closest server to your physical location.
5. If you haven’t connected to the server since the game launched, click the Connect button in DMarket again.

This set of actions should be repeated with every new CS2 skin you want to try in action—before buying the item on DMarket.

*Charms: Skins with charms will currently appear without them on the server. We’re working on this!
