The Best CS:GO Crosshair Settings and Codes (2023 Edition)
It may seem like a small adjustment, but in an ultra-competitive game like CS:GO, small tweaks to the crosshairs can be the difference between winning and losing a gunfight.
However, finding the right CS:GO crosshair codes or customization may take a little bit of experimentation as everyone is different. Some players may be able to track different colors better than others. Or some players may prefer a larger or smaller crosshair to give them better tracking.
If you don’t know where to start customizing your crosshairs, we have you covered. We’ve compiled the settings that some of the top CS:GO players use in competitive play. These can be a great starting point to find what works best for you.
1. Nikola “NiKo” Kovač — G2

Currently with G2 Esports, NiKo is considered one of the top players at the moment. With previous stints at FaZe Clan, NiKo is a veteran in the CS:GO community. Despite G2 not having the best competitive year recently, NiKo was still able to perform well, a testament to his talent and skill that allows him to excel even when the overall team is not at its best.
NiKo uses a very small crosshair which can be difficult to pick up for some. However, for ultra-precise players, the small crosshair can shine if you’re using the right resolution. Definitely try Niko CS:GO crosshair code to see if it’s right for you.

2. Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut — Vitality

ZywOo broke out in 2018 and has been a top-level CS:GO player ever since, ranked as the top player overall by HLTV in both 2019 and 2020. Despite being the AWPer for Vitality, his setup can be one of the best CS:GO crosshair codes for pistol players, as it forgoes any outline that may block background visual information. It’s something to consider for eco round strategies.

4. Jonathan “EliGE” Jablonowski — Team Liquid

EliGE is an American pro player and is widely considered one of the best North American players. Early in his career, EliGE didn’t immediately shoot to the top, but his breakthrough was at Clutch Con 2015 where his team came third. Immediately following was another great showing at the iBUYPOWER invitational that same year.
He then moved to Team Liquid where he currently plays today. His crosshairs are not too heavily modified, but he does like to leave a lot of space in the middle, which can be perfect for landing headshots, something EliGE is known for.

5. Dmitriy “sh1ro” Sokolov — Cloud9

sh1ro is an AWPer who plays for Cloud9. With recent winning performances in 2022 including at the Extreme Masters XVII in Dallas, Texas, sh1ro is looking to have a great year in 2023.
sh1ro also uses a relatively small crosshair setup but it shows bullet spread while shooting. This extra bit of information may be helpful for players new to specific weapons or still learning the finer details of spread while firing.

Being known as one of the top AWPers, dev1ce chooses a smaller crosshair setup. Going with a yellow color and black outline helps with various backgrounds that can range from dark to very light.

7. Helvijs “broky” Saukants — FaZe Clan

Currently an AWPer for FaZe Clan, broky is a rising star in the CS:GO pro scene who is still improving between every event. Considering he has only started playing tournaments since 2017 when he was with Domigais, he’s looking to improve even more in 2023 as he hunts for his first big breakthrough victory.

9. Peter “Dupreeh” Rasmussen — Team Vitality

One of the most versatile players at the moment, Dupreeh can adapt to any weapon and style and has done so throughout his pro career. Currently, he’s with Team Vitality after leaving Astralis late last year.
Just like his pro career, Dupreeh’s crosshair settings are a great all-round choice. Thin green lines and no center dot work well in almost any situation. It’s also good for close-up as well as long-range engagements.
This is one of the best CS:GO crosshair settings for an overall balanced setup to work in a majority of situations.
