DMarket 2019: The Best of the Year
2019 has been a turning point for DMarket and our community. It’s been a year of big changes that pave the way for big advancements. Let’s highlight the most memorable moments of 2019 to build from them in 2020.
New DMarket
The #1 update of the year was obviously the launch of the completely new DMarket platform. It was designed to redefine in-game item trading with a set of advanced features.
With the Circular Exchange technology, players can now instantly trade their items across different games. The Target | Bid feature enables DMarket users to buy skins cheaper and faster and make offers for items even before they go on sale. It also makes possible instant sales of items for the best prices offered by other users.
This next-gen functionality is built on top of cutting-edge technologies including DLT, machine learning, and AI-based predictions of price. All the features and technologies are packed into a simple website design allowing users to access all the tools and items on a single page.
Since launching the new DMarket in August 2019, our team has been working on further enhancing its functionality. New features added to the platform include Sales History, Two-Factor Authentication, Partnership Page, updated filters and sorting. And more is sure to come in 2020.
Top Gaming Events
Evangelizing a community-driven approach to in-game item trading, the DMarket team participated in the most important and influential gaming events of the year.
At GDC 2019, DMarket CEO Vlad Panchenko revealed tools and formulas for building a strong and lucrative in-game economy. Other top tier events such as D.I.C.E. Summit 2019 and Reboot Develop Blue 2019 were highly productive for DMarket in terms of B2B communication and resulted in the strengthening of DMarket’s partner network.
