DreamLeague Season 10 – 1st minor of the Season
Just recently, The International 2018 came to an end but the new season in Dota 2 is already in full swing. In the middle of September, all winners of regional qualifications for The Kuala Lumpur Major 2018 that will take place from 9th to 18th of November became known. Fifteen out of 16 teams who will fight it out in Kuala Lumpur for $1 000 000 have been determined. The last free slot will be occupied by the winner of a Minor tournament – DreamLeague Season 10.
The tenth tournament of the DreamLeague series will take place in the Swedish capital Stockholm from the 29th of October to the 4th of November. The prize value of the tournament is $300 000 and 500 DPC points. The key point for all the teams is getting an invitation to The Kuala Lumpur Major.
Qualifications for the tournament took place in all six regions and covered two stages: open and closed.
The list of teams participating in DreamLeague Season 10 consists of:
- Complexity Gaming – North America
- ROOONS – North America
- Natus Vincere – CIS
- Team Lithium(1) – Europe
- The Final Tribe – Europe
- Tigers – Southeast Asia
- Royal Never Give Up – China Qualifier
- Infamous – South America
Due to health reason, Team Liquid withdrew from the event. They were replaced by Team Lithium.
The teams will play all matches in Bo3 format and the Grand Final in Bo5 format. The detailed format of the tournament will be published later.
The last tournament in the DreamLeague series was won by Team Secret in March 2018.
