Destiny 2: Forsaken Slated for Launch on September 4
We’re just a couple of days away from witnessing a new expansion roll-out for Destiny 2, one of the most enticing action games of 2017. Its upcoming release was officially confirmed by Activision on 28 August, 2018. See the publisher’s blog for details.

What’s New in Destiny 2: Forsaken?
Destiny 2: Forsaken will arrive on September 4 and be available across all popular gaming platforms – PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Alongside the new expansion pack, there is some fresh news about overhauled Season policies, several DLC editions to suit every taste, and an innovative PvE/PvP game mode.

Locations
The expansion unlocks new destinations for players to explore. In Forsaken you can roam about the homeland of the Awoken.

Weapon system
Together with newly added short- and long-range weapons like, say, the Bow that can fire deadly arrows, the entire weapon arrangement system has been reworked. From now on, players can put their weapon of choice in any slot, no matter what type a shotgun, rifle or launcher is.
Super abilities
Lots brand new supers for each Guardian subclass, that is much more power to unleash for Hunter, Warlock and Titan!
Enemy
Besides the malignant prince Uldren Sov, there is another enemy faction, the Scorn, which will appear on your radars.

Game mode
Despite the rumors that Destiny 2: Forsaken would feature a trendy Battle Royale game mode, the dev team introduced an even more challenging alternative. The mode is called Gambit and is a mixture of both PvE and PvP game mechanics.
