Dota 2 Invites to a Monster Hunter Event, Treats You to Great Cosmetics
It’s pretty unusual to have collaboration events in Dota 2, but Valve has bravely changed this tradition. The MOBA game has now got some pretty awesome cosmetic sets inspired by Monster Hunter characters.

The Dota 2 x Monster Hunter event is active from November 11, 2025, to February 6, 2026.
Free Hero Sets to Craft
Six Monster Hunter cosmetic sets are available for Dota 2 Heroes during this collaboration event. Each comes as classic armor and has three alternative color variants.
- Anti-Mage: Kirin’s armor for Wei
- Beast Master: Bone
- Dragon Knight
- Sniper: Odogaron
- Techies: Palico Disguise Bomb
- Windranger: Zinogre

Palico Courier
As part of the Monster Hunter event, you can craft Palico Courier in Dota 2. It’s a cute cat-like creature of the Palico race in the Monster Hunter series.
Monster Hunter Expedition Pack in Dota 2
In addition to free cosmetics, Dota 2 has a few items in the paid Monster Hunter Expedition Pack.
- Poogie, an Effigy Pet: a new type of Dota 2 creature. Your Effigy Pet follows you on the base or hangs out around your Effigy.
Dota 2 Poogie from the Monster Hunter event has six variations.
- Rathalos Dragon Knight: The Hero takes the form of this Monster Hunter Dragon.
- Bullfango as a summoned companion for Beastmaster.
Also, the Expedition Pack includes Monster Hunter music and spray packs. You will receive extra materials for Hero cosmetic sets as well.
