Dota 2 New 7.24 Patch Notes

Icefrog and Co released a new patch a few moments after Clement picked up a Dreamleague cup in Leipzig. Valve has made changes to the map and shrines as well as updating the heroes and items.

General Changes

  • Now heroes have a separate slot for neutral items. Each hero can wear no more than one neutral item active.

  • Now the fountain has a common hiding place. The neutral items are there, not on the ground. Right-clicking on an accessible item in the new interface will place it in the hiding place or in the courier so that it can be picked up. The new interface also shows the status and location of the remaining items that have fallen out.

  • The neutral item can be instantly moved to the shared hiding place by selecting the desired item from the context menu (from the backpack or neutral cell).

  • The number of cells in the backpack has beenreduced from 4 to 3.

  • Now each team can fall out of four neutral items of each category (chance of falling out is increased from 9% to 10%).

  • The chance of falling out of neutral items from ancient creeps is now three times higher.

  • The shrines have been removed from the map.

  • Outposts have been moved to the main forests on each side.

  • Overview of outposts was changed: previously there was an unrestricted view in a radius of 1,400, became ground in a radius of 700 (invisibility radius was reduced accordingly).

  • Now the outposts are initially owned by their teams, and they can be captured at any time (the first award is still given at 10:00).

  • The location of the trees in the places where the outposts were located has been changed.

  • The middle camp of neutral creeps in the main forest of the Dark Force has been slightly shifted.

  • Runes of wealth from the lines have been moved to additional forests.

  • All talents that increase gold per minute have been removed.

  • Void Spirit and Snapfire added to Captain’s Mode.

  • Hero revival time at levels 1-5 has been increased from 6/8/10/14/16 to 12/15/18/21/24 seconds.

  • Buyback price increased from (100 + value/13) to (200 + value/12).

  • The death of the courier no longer stops a passive receipt of gold.

  • Each player’s reward for killing the courier has been increased from (25 + 5* level) to (30 + 7* level).

  • Courier revival time in seconds has been changed from (50 + 7* level) to (60 + 7* level).

  • Speed of the courier movement has been increased from 280 to 290.

  • Couriers can no longer place wards at level 15.

  • Couriers can no longer use items on level 25.

  • Ability charges are now highlighted in a separate interface, not as positive effects.

  • Close Combat attack radius on Observer Ward and Sentry Ward is increased by 150.

  • Items on Level 5 now drop out after 60:00 (see item changes below).

IRONWOOD TREE

  • Now the finished item falls out of the creeps, not the recipe.

  • The bonus on all attributes has been reduced from seven to six.

ARCANE RING

  • Additional intelligence increased from 8 to 10.

IRON TALON

  • No longer has the passive ability of Quell.

  • Now giving +15 to attack speed.

KEEN OPTIC

  • Additional mana recovery increased from 1 to 1.25.

MANGO TREE

  • The viewing radius has been reduced from 1,200 to 1,000.

  • The mangoes now fall a little further.

POOR MAN’S SHIELD

  • Blockable damage for close/long range owner is increased from 20/ 10 to 30/ 20.

TRUSTY SHOVEL

  • Additional health has been reduced from 150 to 100.

OCEAN HEART

  • Additional health/mana recovery increased from 6/ 3 to 8/ 4.

DRAGON SCALE

  • Afterburn: Damage per second increased from 12 to 18.

CLUMSY NET

  • Ensnare: Range of application reduced from 900 to 650.

  • Ensnare: No longer passes through its owner’s magic immunity.

ESSENCE RING

  • Life Essence: No longer cures, but increases current and maximum health (the effects associated with treatment no longer work).

VAMBRACE

  • Now the finished item falls out of the creeps, not the recipe.

  • Now you can switch the attribute of this item.

  • Bonuses to basic/nonbasic attributes have been reduced from 12/ 6 to 10/ 5.

  • The additional vampirism ability has been reduced from 8% to 6%.

ENCHANTED QUIVER

  • Certain Strike: Additional damage from an attack has been increased from 270 to 300.

  • No longer works for soldiers from Wukong’s Command.

ORB OF DESTRUCTION

  • The deceleration was reduced from 30/ 15% to 20/ 10%.

CRAGGY COAT

  • Additional armor has been reduced from 13 to 12.

MIND BREAKER

  • Silence Strike: The silence duration is reduced from 2 to 1.5 seconds.

TELESCOPE

  • The additional attack range has been reduced from 150 to 125.

REPAIR KIT

  • Building Repair: No longer increases the number of turret attack targets.

  • Additional health recovery increased from 13 to 17.

HAVOC HAMMER

  • Havoc: Base damage increased from 175 to 225.

FLICKER

  • Additional travel speed increased from 30 to 40.

MAGIC LAMP

  • Rejuvenate: The health threshold for triggering has been increased from 15% to 20%.

APEX

  • Now the bonus to the main attribute is constant 75.

FUSION RUNE

  • The item has been removed from the game.

BALLISTA

  • The additional attack range has been reduced from 400 to 250.

  • Now adds 30 net damage to each attack.

FORCE BOOTS

  • Force: Recharging increased from 6 to 9 seconds.

  • Additional travel speed reduced from 50% to 40%.

  • Force: Shock range changed from 800 to 600 and duration from 0.65 to 0.5 seconds.

EX MACHINA

  • Reset Item Cooldowns: Recharging increased from 30 to 45 seconds.

  • Additional armor reduced from 25 to 20.

  • Reset Item Cooldowns: The application now costs 100 mana.

MIRROR SHIELD

  • Echo Shield: Recharging increased from 4 to 8 seconds.

PIRATE HAT

  • The additional attack speed has been reduced from 250 to 150.

  • Kill Bounty: No longer creates a rune of wealth by killing the hero.

  • Kill Bounty: Now steals 300 gold from the hero he kills.

SEER STONE

  • The bonus for range and ability has been reduced from 450 to 350.

PHOENIX ASH

  • The item has been removed from the game.

DESOLATOR 2

  • Additional damage has been reduced from 100 to 75.

  • Greater Corruption: Armor reduction reduced from 12 to 10.

  • Greater Corruption: Effect duration reduced from 15 to 7 seconds.

WOODLAND STRIDERS

  • Additional recovery has been reduced from 70 to 50.

  • Woodland Stride: Tree lifetime reduced from 60 to 15 seconds.

FALLEN SKY

  • Now goes to recharging for damage, like Blink Dagger.

  • Now it’s a complete item, not a recipe.

TRIDENT

  • Bonuses to all attributes have been reduced from 33% to 30%.

BOOK OF THE DEAD

  • Greater Demonic Summoning: Now instead of three pairs of creatures, Necronomicon calls only two pairs that have 50% more health and damage.

  • The additional strength and intelligence have been reduced from 35 to 30.

ENCHANTED MANGO

  • Eat Mango: Mana recovery reduced from 125 to 110.

QUELLING BLADE

  • The active ability no longer destroys wards (like Iron Talon and Battle Fury).

TANGO

  • Devour: No longer destroys wards.

VLADMIR’S OFFERING

  • Additional mana recovery has been reduced from 1.5 to 1.25.

VOID STONE

  • Additional mana recovery increased from 1.75 to 2.25.

PERSEVERANCE

  • Additional mana recovery increased from 2 to 2.25.

BATTLE FURY

  • Additional damage increased from 54 to 60.

  • Cleave: Damage to adjacent heroes increased from 60% to 70%.

  • Cleave: Damage to adjacent creeps is reduced from 60% to 50%.

MAELSTROM

  • Chain Lightning: damage reduced from 150 to 140.

NECRONOMICON

  • Additional mana recovery increased from 2/ 2.5/ 3 to 3/ 3.5 /4.

DESOLATOR

  • The effect duration is reduced from 15 to 7 seconds.

RADIANCE

  • Additional damage has been reduced from 65 to 60.

BLADE MAIL

  • Additional damage has been increased from 22 to 28.

SILVER EDGE

  • Additional damage has been increased from 40 to 45.

MASK OF MADNESS

  • Additional damage has been increased from 10 to 15.

ARMLET OF MORDIGGIAN

  • Additional damage has been increased from 9 to 15.

CRYSTALYS

  • Additional damage increased from 38 to 45.

  • Critical Strike: The critical damage multiplier has been reduced from 175% to 160%.

DAEDALUS

  • Additional damage increased from 80 to 88.

Ancient Apparition

  • Ice Blast: The health threshold for murder has been increased from 10/11/12% to 12/13/14%.

  • Level 10 talent: “+90 gold per minute” replaced by “+175 to attack range from Chilling Touch”.

AXE

  • Travel speed increased by 5.

  • Force increase increased from 3.4 to 3.6.

BOUNTY HUNTER

  • Base armor increased by 1.

BREWMASTER

  • Base armor increased by 1.

CHAOS KNIGHT

  • Reality Rift: Reservation reduction increased from 2/3/4/5 to 3/4/5/6.

  • Phantasm: The damage to illusions has been reduced from 350% to 325%.

  • Level 20 talent: “+150 gold per minute” replaced by “+10 seconds Phantasm action”.

CHEN

  • Level 20 talent: “+180 gold per minute” replaced by “-30 seconds Hand of God recharging”.

CLINKZ

  • Burning Army: Base skeleton damage increased from 24/26/28% to 28%.

CRYSTAL MAIDEN

  • Level 15 talent: “+150 gold per minute” replaced by “-2 sec. recharging Crystal Nova”.

DARK SEER

  • Surge: The extra speed has been changed from 25/40/55/70% to 70%.

  • Duration reduced from 6 to 3/4/5/6 seconds.

DARK WILLOW

  • Level 15 talent: “+120 gold per minute” replaced by “+40 to Bedlam damage”.

DEATH PROPHET

  • Base armor increased by 1.

  • Basic movement speed increased by 5.

  • Spirit Siphon: Charge recovery time has been reduced from 60/52/44/36 to 45/40/35/30 seconds.

DISRUPTOR

  • Thunder Strike: Mana consumption increased from 130 to 130/140/150/160.

  • Static Storm: Aghanim’s Scepter no longer increases the duration from 5 to 7 seconds.

  • Level 20 talent: “+180 gold per minute” replaced by “Kinetic Field reveals invisibility”.

DOOM

  • The force increase has been reduced from 4 to 3.7.

  • Scorched Earth: The acceleration of movement has been reduced from 12/13/14/15% to 9/11/13/15%.

  • Devour: Restoration of health has been reduced from 3/8/13/18 to 2/6/10/14.

DRAGON KNIGHT

  • Base travel speed increased by 10.

  • Dragon Form: The extra travel speed has been reduced from 30 to 25.

DROW RANGER

  • Multishot: The proportion of main damage has been reduced from 90/115/140/165% to 85/110/135/160%.

EARTH SPIRIT

  • Stone Remnant: Charge recovery time has been reduced from 30 to 25 seconds.

  • Tier 20 talent: “+150 gold per minute” replaced by “+3.5 seconds silence from Geomagnetic Grip”.

ENIGMA

  • Malefice: Damage for triggering has been increased from 30/50/70/90 to 30/55/80/105.

  • Level 15 talent: “+150 gold per minute” replaced by “+40 damage for triggering Malefice”.

GRIMSTROKE

  • Basic intelligence increased by 2.

  • Level 10 talent: “+90 gold per minute” replaced by “+100 to maximum damage from Ink Swell”.

  • Level 15 talent: Additional range of abilities increased from 125 to 175.

  • Level 15 talent: Additional damage to ability range increased from 12% to 15%.

IO

  • Overcharge: Recovery from maximum health was reduced from 0.6/ 0.8/ 1/ 1.2% to 0.55/ 0.7/ 0.85/ 1%.

  • Recharging increased from 16 to 22/20/18/16 seconds.

  • Level 15 talent: “+120 gold per minute” replaced by “+400 to max. range Spirits”.

JAKIRO

  • Dual Breath: Now the damage starts to be dealt instantly.

  • Level 20 talent: “+150 gold per minute” replaced by “+400 to Dual Breath range”.

JUGGERNAUT

  • Base damage increased by 4.

  • Base movement speed increased by 5.

LICH

  • Base damage reduced by 2

  • Frost Blast: Mana consumption increased from 105/130/155/180 to 115/140/165/190.

  • Sinister Gaze: Duration reduced from 1.6/ 1.9/ 2.2/ 2.5 to 1.4/ 1.7/ 2/ 2.3 seconds.

LION

  • Level 15 talent: “+150 gold per minute” replaced by “+60 manas per second from Mana Drain”.

LUNA

  • Lunar Blessing: Now that ability only increases basic armor.

  • Additional damage and armor increased from 10/15/20/25% to 15/20/25/30%.

LYCAN

  • Basic intelligence increased by 4.

  • Shapeshift: Time to convert has been reduced from 1.5 to 1.25 seconds.

MAGNUS

  • Maximum damage reduced by 4.

  • Empower: Cutting damage has been reduced from 15/25/35/45% to 10/20/30/40%.

  • Level 10 talent: Additional attack speed reduced from 25 to 20.

MARS

  • Force increase increased from 3.2 to 3.4.

  • God’s Rebuke: The deceleration time increased from 1.5 to 2 seconds.

  • Additional damage to heroes increased from 25 to 35.

MEDUSA

  • The increase in intelligence has been increased from 3.4 to 4.

  • Stone gaze: Additional travel speed increased from 35% to 50%.

NYX ASSASSIN

  • Vendetta: The type of additional damage has been changed from physical to pure.

  • Level 10 talent: “+90 gold per minute” replaced by “+10 gold per second from Heavenly Grace”.

ORACLE

  • Level 15 talent: “+120 gold per minute” replaced by “-1 sec. recharging Purifying Flames”.

PANGOLIER

  • Shield crash: Now the application under the effect of daze does not move the owner.

PHANTOM ASSASSIN

  • Base damage increased by 3.

PHANTOM LANCER

  • Level 15 talent: Additional health reduced from 275 to 250.

  • Level 25 talent: Doppelganger reload reduction from 6 to 5 seconds.

PHOENIX

  • Attack range increased from 500 to 525.

  • Basic health recovery increased by 0.5.

  • Level 10 talent: “+90 gold per minute” was replaced by “+18% to the slowdown of Icarus Dive”.

PUCK

  • Base damage has been reduced by 3.

  • Warchy: Additional speed increased from 6/10/14/18% to 10/14/18/22%.

  • Recharging reduced from 36/32/28/24 to 32/28/24/20 seconds.

TECHIES

  • The type of damage to yourself from the Blast Off ability has been changed from pure to magical.

  • Level 20 talent: “+150 gold per minute” replaced by “-28 seconds Blast Off!”.

TERRORBLADE

  • Movement speed increased from 310 to 315.

  • Reflection: Slower movement has been reduced from 20% to 25%.

TIDEHUNTER

  • Basic intelligence increased by 2.

TINKER

  • Talent 15 level: “+150 gold per minute” replaced by “+2 seconds of action March of the Machines”.

TINY

  • Avalanche: The total duration has been reduced from 1.8 to 1.4 seconds.

TREANT PROTECTOR

  • The force increase has been reduced from 3.5 to 3.4.

  • Nature’s Grasp: Mana flow rate increased from 60/70/80/90 to 75/80/85/90.

  • Living Armor: Armor reduced from 4/6/8/10 to 5/6/7/8.

TROLL WARLORD

  • Minimal base damage increased by 4.

TUSK

  • Basic health recovery increased from 0.5 to 1.

  • Tier 10 talent: “+90 gold per minute” replaced by “+0.3 seconds stun from Walrus Punch”.

UNDERLORD

  • Level 15 talent: Additional permanent damage from Atrophy Aura reduced from 7 to 6.

  • Level 15 talent: Additional ability range increased from 150 to 200.

  • Level 20 talent: Additional attack speed reduced from 70 to 60.

UNDYING

  • Now the Helm of the Dominator works on zombies from Tombstone’s ability.

  • Now level 15 talent increases the zombie’s baseline damage, not the additional damage.

  • Tombstone: Now the health threshold for zombie enhancement is always 40%.

  • Tombstone: The extra movement speed for the reinforced zombies has been changed from 50% to 35/40/45/50%.

  • Tombstone: Additional attack speed of reinforced zombies changed from 75 to 50/60/70/80.

  • Flesh Golem: The deceleration time is increased from 5 to 6 seconds.

  • Action time increased from 30 to 40 seconds.

  • Flesh Golem: Now this ability increases the owner’s movement speed by 30.

VENOMANCER

  • Level 10 talent: “+90 gold per minute” replaced by “+15 seconds Plague Ward”.

VISAGE

  • Soul Assumption: The damage threshold has been reduced from 110 to 100.
  • Mana consumption reduced from 170/160/150/140 to 150.

VOID SPIRIT

  • The hero is added to Captain’s Mode.

WARLOCK

  • Shadow Word: Recharge reduced from 16 to 14 seconds.

WEAVER

  • The Swarm: The interval between beetle attacks was reduced from 1.25/ 1.1/ 0.95/ 0.8 to 1.15/ 1/ 0.85 /0.7 seconds.

WINTER WYVERN

  • Base force reduced from 26 to 24.

  • Cold Embrace: Recovery from its maximum stock has been reduced from 3/4/5/6% to 2/3/4/5%.

  • Cold Embrace: Basic treatment increased from 14/18/22/26 to 20/26/32/38.

  • Level 10 talent: “+90 gold per minute” was replaced by “+1% to Cold Embrace”.

WITCH DOCTOR

  • Base armor increased by 1.

  • Level 15 talent: “+120 gold per minute” replaced by “+100 to Maledict radius”.
