The Best Cheap TF2 Skins

Over the years, Team Fortress 2 has gone through countless updates, and many of them introduced brand new weapons and items into the game. Having so many to choose from can become overwhelming, which is why today we will be taking a look at some of the best TF2 skins.

The Best Cheap TF2 Skins

You can buy TF2 skins in two different ways:

  • Steam (has its own trading platform)
  • 3rd party services such as DMarket. Because gamers want to trade without fees and easily withdraw money from their accounts (Steam does not provide such an opportunity).

1. Mad Milk

TF2 Mad Milk
  • Type: Secondary Weapon

  • Class: Scout

  • Starting price: $0.05

The Mad Milk is a bottle filled with white liquid which, according to the description, is a non-milk substance and can be used as a thrown weapon. The Mad Milk covers a large area and can be used to extinguish and cool down allies who have unfortunately been set on fire. In addition to being a fire extinguisher, allies affected with Mad Milk will heal by the amount of damage that they manage to deal while under the effect of the milk. This can come in very handy when your Medic is nowhere to be found so it might be wise to keep one of these in the hands of your Scout.

2. The Buff Banner

TF2 The Buff Banner
  • Type: Secondary Weapon

  • Class: Soldier

  • Starting price: $0.02

The Buff Banner is a secondary weapon for our favorite infantryman, the Soldier, and it is a very powerful item which once activated, increases the damage output of both you and your nearby allies by 35%. However, since it will replace your shotgun, you will need to change the playstyle of the Soldier to be more team-oriented rather than a straight-up frag rush.

3. The Spy-cicle

TF2 The Spy-cicle
  • Type: Melee Weapon

  • Class: Spy

  • Starting price: $0.15

The Spy-cicle is a melee weapon for the Spy and can be very powerful if used properly in the game. Aside from looking hilarious when running around with an icicle in your hands while tormenting your enemies, the Spy-cicle has the ability to freeze an enemy in place when used in backstabbing, as well as granting the user fire immunity in order to make them more resistant to exposure from Pyros and flare guns.

Team Fortress 2 still has a huge community of followers even though it is almost ten years old, and many of them still play Team Fortress 2 on a regular basis, but how large a player base does Team Fortress 2 really have? Find out by reading our Team Fortress 2 Audience article.

4. The Black Box

TF2 The Black Box
  • Type: Primary Weapon

  • Class: Soldier

  • Starting price: $0.02

The Black Box is a powerful primary weapon that many Soldier players choose to utilize due to its extremely high healing capabilities. For every successful hit that you land with it, the Soldier gains 20 health. This basically means that you can take your own splash damage without any issues, making the Black Box very useful in close-quarter combat.

5. The Rescue Ranger

TF2 The Rescue Ranger
  • Type: Primary Weapon

  • Class: Engineer

  • Starting price: $1.00

The Rescue Ranger is a unique utility weapon specifically useful to the Engineer class in Team Fortress 2, allowing them to repair structures such as sentry turrets and portals from a distance. What this means is that an Engineer won’t have to get up close and personal to tend to his creations, which in turn will keep him away from the heat of battle and out of harm’s way.

6. The Wrangler

TF2 The Wrangler
  • Type: Secondary Weapon

  • Class: Engineer

  • Starting price: $0.02

The Wrangler is an item that goes into the secondary slot of the Engineer and allows him to override his sentry gun and take manual control of it. This effectively allows the engineer to increase the effective range of the sentry gun as well as providing him with the ability to use the sentry gun against cloaked enemies and spies. The Wrangler also increases the firing rate of the sentry gun and is extremely useful regardless of the Engineer’s playstyle.

Many gamers gravitate towards Team Fortress 2 due to its unique gameplay mechanics and while they are simple to grasp, the gameplay mechanics are very difficult to master, so if you want to give Team Fortress 2 a try, but are not sure how to go about it, then perhaps our Team Fortress 2 Beginner’s Guide can provide you with the help you need.

TF2 The Enforcer

The Enforcer is another variant of the Spy’s pistol and depending on the situation it can be considered both an upgrade and a downgrade. While the Enforcer comes stripped down of the ability to do random critical hits and has a somewhat decreased firing rate, it makes up for it with its improved damage when fired from stealth. This makes it an ideal weapon for picking off retreating enemies who are not aware of your presence.
