The Best TF2 Weapons for Medic

Team Fortress 2 is definitely a title that stands out within the FPS genre due to its selection of unique classes, each with different abilities and various weapons that can fit specific playing styles and roles. However, each of these classes also has a unique selection of weapon and item skins, and while there are too many to cover in a single article, instead today we will focus on the best TF2 Medic weapons.

You can buy TF2 skins in two different ways:

  • Steam (has its own trading platform)
  • 3rd party services such as DMarket. Because gamers want to trade without fees and easily withdraw money from their accounts (Steam does not provide such an opportunity).

Crusader’s Crossbow

TF2 Crusader’s Crossbow
  • Type: Primary Weapon

  • Starting Price: $0.02

The Crusader’s Crossbow is a primary type of weapon used by the Medic class and is a part of the Medieval Medic set in Team Fortress 2. The weapon itself has a simple yet interesting appearance in the shape of a wooden crossbow with various metal details and a large transparent container that houses the syringes that this weapon uses as ammunition. The Crusader’s Crossbow is effective at more or less all distances, and the further the fired syringe travels, the more damage or healing it will do, depending on whether it hits an ally or an enemy. Unlike other syringes, projectiles fired from the Crusader’s Crossbow can be deflected.

Overdose

TF2 Overdose
  • Type: Primary Weapon

  • Starting Price: $0.02

The Overdose is a part of a three-part set called The Clinical Trial. Just like most Medic weapons, the Overdose shoots out syringes but deals 15% less damage compared to the standard Syringe Gun. However, it makes up for this by increasing the movement speed of the Medic for every 2% of the stored UberCharge, up to 10% in total. In terms of appearance, the weapon design is relatively simple, featuring a basic pistol shape with a Medical hose and a small Medical container attached to it.

Blutsauger

TF2 Blutsauger
  • Type: Primary Weapon

  • Starting Price: $0.02

The Blutsauger sports an appearance similar to the standard Syringe Gun but instead of the large transparent container, it has a large pill bottle attached to it, giving an overall more solid look. What makes this weapon unique is the fact that every time you hit somebody with a syringe, the Medic will replenish by three health points. To counterbalance this, the Medic’s default regeneration is lowered by 2 points. The Blutsauger is rewarded to any Medic who gets a total of ten Medic achievements.

Ubersaw

TF2 Ubersaw
  • Type: Melee Weapon

  • Starting Price: $0.02

The Ubersaw is a go-to melee slot for many Team Fortress 2 Medics. It has the appearance of something that came out of the Saw movie, featuring parts of the medical Bonesaw, a large syringe, and a cleaver - all combined into a deadly contraption. While the Ubersaw swings somewhat slower than the standard Bonesaw, it has the potential to fill the UberCharge meter very quickly, the amount of which is conveniently displayed as liquid in the syringe.

Buy Ubersaw Team Fortress 2 has been around for quite a long time now, and even today it is one of the more popular, unique shooters among gamers, but how many people have played Team Fortress 2 within the last year or so?. Quick-Fix

TF2 Quick-Fix
  • Type: Secondary Weapon

  • Starting Price: $0.02

Quick-Fix was introduced in June 2011. The weapon seems to be a prototype of a Medi Gun and seems to have been made from an old blender.

Quick-Fix comes with its own set of advantages and disadvantages when compared to the regular Medi Gun. While the Quick-Fix heals allies 40% faster and builds up ÜberCharge 10% faster, its overheal capabilities are reduced from 150% to 125%. It also allows the user to match the speed of the ally it is used on, and once ÜberCharge is deployed, it makes the Medic immune to all movement-impairing effects such as slowdown and stun.

Amputator

TF2 Amputator
  • Type: Melee Weapon

  • Starting Price: $0.02

The Amputator features a huge serrated blade attached to a handle portraying the color of the team and a medic sign on it. It also has a large spike pointing upwards from it, making the weapon truly look like its name suggests. In terms of abilities, the Amputator provides 3 extra points of health regeneration per second when active, as well as applying a healing effect to nearby allies on taunt. However, this is counterbalanced by the Amputator dealing 20% less damage.

Kritzkrieg

TF2 Kritzkrieg
  • Type: Secondary Weapon

  • Starting Price: $0.02

The Kritzkreig is a ranged weapon with an appearance similar to the regular Medi Gun. However, unlike the Medi Gun, the Kritzkreig features an additional barrel attached to the gun with yellow lights on it from which a beam of yellow light and small particles can be fired to heal allies.
